Super 8 Videos by Ella Mae
When I was in high school, I developed an interest in shooting video on film. Classmates of mine will remember my pointing a camera in their face and asking if they wanted to “be in my home video.” Since then, I’ve directed, shot, and produced a number of Super 8 projects. As an independent artist, I’m always finding thrifty ways to bring my artistic ideas to fruition. Super 8 videos are a fantastic and relatively affordable option for artists who want to go the extra mile with their creative projects but find large scale, large crew productions cost-prohibitive.
If you, like me, enjoy doing things the old fashioned way, the crackly analog charm of a Super 8 Video may be the cherry on top of your latest project.
